Will your guests stay?
Will your guests stay at your wedding?
What do you think are the 2 things that people will remember after your wedding day is over? Pause a bit and think about that. The church, the location of your reception? I would highly suggest talking with other brides and people who have been to weddings recently and ask them that question and see if it compares with what is important to you. I am confident that you will discover that they will be talking about the meal they had and the entertainment.
The quality of the food your guests will have at your wedding will make the difference of them staying or leaving because they are still hungry. If you haven't had any experience with the food you are going to have served, go and taste the food. Take a few people with you to get their opinion. Online is one thing, but you have to do your homework.
Now let's talk entertainment. If the music isn't on par with your guests, they will absolutely leave early. Playing the right song at the right time is the hardest part of packing your dance floor which will make your guest stay till the end. Do your research online and then go and meet with the person(s) who will provide entertainment for your BIG DAY. Get testimonials. If you are are person who shops on just price, you will end up with just a DJ or just a band. Hire someone that understands that this is one of the most important days of your lives and will do everything in their power to make it a day that your guests will talk about for a year!
