“We were in Erie, PA for our 103rd Annual Education & Training Conference for the PA Chiefs of Police. DJ Shawn completely proved all of my fears to be wrong. He had wonderful music playing during our formal banquet & reception. This was a time for installation of new officers and ceremonies and the music he played was ideal and appropriate. He was so professional & nice; GREAT ENTHUSIASM. Shawn had our chiefs dancing for the 2nd half of our evening in the Hospitality room, 9pm-midnight. Even one of our new Executive Board members was dancing with his wife. All of the Chiefs were having a GREAT TIME, singing and dancing together. My absolute favorite part of the evening was when Shawn played “Bad boys, bad boys” song from the show, “COPS”… it was a great song to feature for our hospitality. I got a kick out of it. Memories In Motion was a part of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Party honoring the completion of the Clara Ward home in Erie, Pennsylvania. The deserving recipient is the founder of the Youth Development and Family Center. The week-long collaboration with the Extreme Makeover crew, the Maleno Real Estate Development and more than 1,000 community volunteers completely demolished a house only to build a home. We were happy to be included in the celebration. In the words of Clara Ward herself ...
